The kick-off of Capital City Pride Idol 2012 which took place at The Urban Onion on January 14th was a success. Thirteen people competed for a spot in the final in June, but it was Daniel Bumbarger who captured the attention of the room when he sang a version of “Over the Rainbow” which won him an opportunity to compete at the Pride Idol Finale in June.
February 4th is the next date to participate in Pride Idol, which will take place at The Urban Onion starting at 9pm. We look forward to having an opportunity to raise awareness and build PRIDE in our Capital City as we move towards the festival and Parade this June.

The second installment of Capital City Pride Idol 2012 took place at The Urban Onion on February 4th . Ten people competed for a spot in the final in June, but it was Jerod Nace who stole the hearts of the judges panel when he sang “Sweet Child of Mine” by Guns and Roses, as a tribute to his unborn child.
March 3rd is the next date to participate in Capital City Pride Idol, which will take place at The Urban Onion starting at 9pm.

On March 3rd, Capital City Pride Idol took place and ten people competed with the hopes of winning a spot in the final in June. Singing the song “Sex and Candy” by Marcy Playground, a first time competitor by the name of Ace stole the show and won the spot in the final.
April 7th in the next date to participate in Capital City Pride Idol, which will take place at The Urban Onion at 9pm.
